The Church at Nambe, New Mexico, is one of the more modern churches, but still has the simple adobe presence. It sits on a hill with the view of the distant blue purple Jemez Mountains in the background. I cropped off the rest of the picture so I could feel the strength of design of the Church. It stands tall proclaiming the spiritual reality of God. It sits above a lush farming and ranching valley full of trees with a stream that over runs its banks frequently. The road nearby meanders for many miles among adobe homes and other buildings. A wonderful drive culminating at the Church. It’s hot today, in the 90s in Albuquerque, just like it is when I visit this Church. You can feel the heat radiating off the bright sun-reflecting ground. Problems literally melt away in the heat or you can step inside and within the cool adobe walled Church and be with God.
