FREE ASSOCIATION ART

FREE ASSOCIATION ART ———-

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH., CHRISTIAN ARTIST,
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, COPYRIGHT 2014 ———

Alandrax loved free association art. She simply allowed her feelings to come out in her paintings through color, shapes and usually herself in an abstracted form, mainly because she wasn’t sure who she was or what she thought. She was always naked in her paintings, which expressed her lack of direction or uncertainty about life. She did paint one small painting wearing a bright colored flowered shirt when she thought she had won a trip to Hawaii, but it fell through; so her next painting she was naked again. The colors in her artwork inferred that she was hopeful though about life. She painted an umbilical cord, which attached her to God, her Creator, which gave her the sense of hope.
