SILVIA, under the tree

SILVIA, under the tree ———

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST,
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, COPYRIGHT 2014 ———-

My memories of Silvia sitting under the juniper tree naked are fading. She so enjoyed her sandstone hills and the turquoise skies and the clouds reflecting the earthen colors. She was a giving creative artist who offered me herself every time we were out hiking, but our beliefs differed; so I declined, but I did enjoy watching her expressions of freedom. She was able to let loose her childlike nature, but was a serious and talented artist. Her steel sculptures are hidden in canyons and on mesa tops for those hiking and searching for something new and surprising. As I sit looking out the glass door on this cold cloudy, rainy and snowy day in Albuquerque, I think of her on a sunny mesa day.
