SHADOWED FIGURES

SHADOWED FIGURES ——–

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2014 ————-

You seldom see them, lurking in the shadows. Yes, there are people of darkness, but I’m talking about the one’s within ourselves, the ones that stimulate us to do evil. Frequently we project our evil onto others, our minds and emotions are complex places. Being made in the image of God means we are capable of goodness and evil. As the Bible states God creates good and evil, a verse most people ignore or try to forget. When we choose against good, God allows evil to come after us, constant moment by moment choices. In my nude art classes, the naked person can be seen from the illuminated side or the shadowed side. It was our choice and there were many reasons for both, intrigue, mystery or simpe contrst. It is the light that defines darkness and the reverse. Taos Pueblo is an example of shadowed figures, shapes and purposes.
