ARTIST’S CATHEDRAL

ARTIST’S CATHEDRAL ————–

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2015 ————-

The impressionists and expressionists gave Lilly the foundation for painting the inside of a Cathedral. The lights and colors combined in an intricate pattern. This is a small scaled image of what was actually six feet wide. In the morning the sun would come through her east window and enliven all the colors, enough that it would give her a sense of the spiritual within her studio. She would wake up to the light reflecting off the picture and slide out of bed naked and fall to her knees and pray looking up occasionally at the cathedral ceiling so brilliantly illuminated by the morning sunlight.
