MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2015 ————

It is a great disappointment for a lot of people to visit many pueblos, villages and landscapes in New Mexico after they have seen artwork of these places. The artist combined his or her associations with the scene, which is not seen when actually visiting the site. After experiencing this picture of Taos pueblo, there will be an emotional let down when actually there. People bring home the painting and hang it on the wall, not an actual photograph. My aunt from Michigan said of Taos Pueblo when she saw it, “it’s only a mud building,” expecting so much more after seeing paintings of it. The “art view” offers more than the simple photograph, it reveals the emotions and translations of the artist, much more interesting because a personal touch was added.
