DANCERS

DANCERS ———-

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2015 ————

Laguna is a pueblo made up of people from other tribes historically. They are a mixture but became unified. Sandine was a woman artist who learned the elements and principles from the traditional art, but then went out on her own with images of the pueblo. She combined the church, with the dances and the homes surrounding the Church just as she combined the spiritual with the physical into new compositions. It was difficult for tourists to talk with her because she was a unique person. The general society was now mainly about money, but she was about the truly worthwhile aspects of life, beginning with the spiritual. Sandine was like her pueblo, she left the traditional and found something different and better. She offered her insights to others, but they just found her paintings interesting and bought them for decoration in their homes.
