LITTLE KNOWN ANCHO MUSEUM ————-

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2015 ————

Going north from Ruidoso on some lonely roads will take you to Ancho, New Mexico. The people there used the natural clay deposits to make bricks for as far away as San Fransico sent on the old railroad line that is next to the old depot, now the museum. The caretaker has collected house items from the old town and from White Oaks, eastward in the mountains. The isles are narrow and every space is taken with something from the past. You can buy a brick from the old stockpile, 5.00 dollars, with the name Ancho imprinted on it. If you are into antiques the trip is worth it. I can’t believe I only took 3 pictures, maybe more someplace else.
