THEY HAMMERED AND DREW ON EVERYTHING—————–

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2015 ————

Three Rivers, New Mexico appears after a long drive, but it was worth it if you like pictographs and petroglyphs. On a hot afternoon we spent looking on top and around the side of rocks, frequently rewarded with a figure or animal. The town itself has an old dancehall/bar and other little village buildings, now abandoned. The road to the rock pictures is here at the town, and after another long drive, you’re there. I have about fifty pictures, but can’t show them all here. They are a connection with the past, with their hunting and the animals they saw. They had many images of nudity, which obviously didn’t bother them, spiritual to sexual.
