JEMEZ CANYONS ————

JIM PECHA, B.ARCH. CHRISTIAN ARTIST
MINISTER OF CREATIVITY, copywrite 2015 ————

Enter the Jemez Canyons by highway or back road way to experience ancient ruins, abandoned mines and the quiet wilderness of elk, deer and bobcats. The meandering streams were once raging rivers, cutting into the volcanic rocks. Hikes go for miles along the green valleys until you realize you are deep into nature and it becomes more dominant than your hiking partners. You began to peer into the dark woods wondering what eyes are watching you. After hiking for a couple of hours, a sunny spot on a flat eroded rock looks good for a snack and taking off sweaty clothes to dry as you sunbath in nature naturally.
